Hope Channel Philippines Joins NPUC Communication Department “SHARE IT” Media Boot Camp

With the aim to empower and enrich talents and capabilities that can be used in the furtherance of the Media Ministry, North Philippine Union Conference (NPUC) Communication department conducted a Media Boot Camp, held at 1000 Missionary Movement Campus, Silang, Cavite.

Selected delegates coming from the missions and conferences in the NPUC territory together with the Hope Channel Philippines crew and leadership attended the said Boot Camp themed; “Share It”.

The primary goal in the trainings done in the camp is to have more and better news contributions and conversion stories. Making these contents to effectively become a blessing to the church and the viewing public.

“We have a lot of activities, ministries and evangelisms being done. However, some of our leaders do not know about them. It does not reach some of our brethren, here in our territory. With this activity (camp), we wanted to capture those news and conversion stories to be an encouragement to our members that they may continue to take part in the work”, says NPUC Communication Director, Pastor Joel Sarmiento.

To reach the said goals, the boot camp includes timely and important topics that were discussed by invited speakers, who are all considered ‘experienced’ in the Media ministry.

Southern Asia Pacific Division (SSD) Secretary for the Communication department, Edward Rodriguez tackled matters regarding content and news writing. While, Project Life director, Gem Roy Fuentes relayed in detail about conversion story plotting and producing.

“We believe that when our church has a lot of conversion stories, more people will be inspired, so as the faith of our brethren will be boosted”, Fuentes said.

In the end, the Boot camp has been a blessing to the delegates. They now have so much to share and use as they contribute in ministries of their church.

“I’m happy and blessed for all the things I have learned here, which I can use in serving the Lord”, says Celine Dublas, a delegate from South Central Luzon Conference.

With the Lord’s leading, the NPUC Media Boot Camp has been meaningful. With so much knowledge shared and gained for the glory of the Lord!
